Enjoy the Benefits of the Short Form
Develop Focus
Learning the Short Form helps develop focus, memory and concentration, as the movements become more intricate and the form twists and turns to face all 4 directions.
Improve Balance
Learning the Short Form will improve your balance and coordination, and strength and flexibility. The slow methodical movements bring a heightened awareness of how we step, move our weight and change direction.
Start Your Tai Chi Journey
The Short Form uses many of the basic Tai Chi stances and postures that you will encounter in more advanced forms, Qigong, pushing hands exercises and martial applications.
Skills Beyond Movement
Additional skills such as harmony of movement can be improved by practising the Short Form with someone else who has learnt the Short Form.
At the same time, focusing on the movements of the Short Form can be very relaxing and calming
Easy to Learn
We break down each movement into easy to follow steps. As you learn each movement the videos outline the movements of the legs, arms and how they work together to make the movement work.
There is no rush with learning the sequence. The advantage of this course is that you can stop, pause, rewatch as often as you like and move at a pace that works for you.
